The Facebook Collective Cyber Conscience Movement
“This is only the beginning and I dream of the day when we can see our Collective Conscience in a Virtual (Cyber) Image in Real-Time”.
Background
Facebook is used for socialising, mating, looking for love, knowledge sharing, networking, seeking companionship, connecting with people and basically communicating. The actions people undertake to communicate are things like talking, using words, writing, sending emotive icons, flirting, poking, creating friends lists and allowing access to your personal life such as photo galleried, likes & dislikes and the things you are into. The why we are doing all these things is simply the fact that Facebook is becoming our Virtual world where we are living out our Virtual Lives. Each Facebook user has their own page that reflects their individual identity, personality, communicating styles and understanding of their world. Every single one of these users has their own brain, thoughts, emotions, feeling, opinions, attitudes, morals, values, body, soul, spirituality and conscience.
The Collective Conscience
We all have feelings and they come from thoughts that have a direct link to either Pain or Pleasure Emotions. The Pain emotions are Fear, Hatred, Anger, Greed, Jealousy, Revenge & Superstition and these are the emotions we try to avoid and steer clear from, as they will cause conflict, pain & disharmony. The Pleasure emotions are Love, Sex, Hope, Faith, Sympathy, Optimism & Loyalty and it is obvious why we only want to experience these emotions because they are feel good and fuzzy emotions. The collective conscience is simply the collection of pain & pleasure emotions whereby if we assess all our emotions here on planet earth at one given time, we will find that we are thinking like one brain. The Collective Conscience ebbs and flows with the movement of the moon and withdraws and implodes from the heat of the sun. It is almost like together we are the conscience of mother earth herself.
The Collective Cyber Conscience
The Facebook Collective Cyber Conscience is about creating a Virtual Image of the Collective Conscience and the CC is merely the electronic collection of our individual thoughts. The Collective Cyber Conscience could be viewed in the forms of either 2D images, such as a pie chart, bar chart, line/flow chart or 3D images such as a Matrix or an actual picture of a Brain that shows you fluorescent colours that indicate what parts of the brain we are collectively using. What we could potentially create is a worlds’ fist Virtual Image of our collective thoughts - a real image of real thoughts.
The “Feelings” Buttons
What if when you received a Facebook message you had an indication of how that person was “feeling”. The Facebook Collective Cyber Conscience Movement is about creating a set of “feelings” buttons (much like the single, married & complicated etc…), such as Happy, Sad, Angry, Loving, Bored, Spiritual, Annoyed, Frustrated, Anxious, Calm, Depressed and I don’t care (apathy). The “feelings” buttons could look like this and be based on a scale of 1 to 10 to provide a more accurate assessment of your feelings:
Happy: 1- 2 - 3 - 4- 5 - 6 - 7 - 8 - 9 - 10
Sad: 1 - 2 - 3 - 4- 5 - 6 - 7 - 8 - 9 - 10
Angry: 1 - 2 - 3 - 4- 5 - 6 - 7 - 8 - 9 – 10
Bored: 1 - 2 - 3 - 4- 5 - 6 - 7 - 8 - 9 - 10
Spiritual: 1 - 2 - 3 - 4- 5 - 6 - 7 - 8 - 9 – 10
Frustrated 1 - 2 - 3 - 4- 5 - 6 - 7 - 8 - 9 – 10
Anxious 1 - 2 - 3 - 4- 5 - 6 - 7 - 8 - 9 - 10
When you click on a “feelings” button (either daily, weekly or monthly), your feeling is registered on a collective page called the Facebook Collective Cyber Conscience Page. This page is a central register of all feelings “clicked” by Facebook members and allows users to view the collective emotions of Facebook Users. This page will also include the virtual 2D and 3D images.
The Collective Cyber Conscience Justice System
All participants may be required to sign up to certain terms and conditions relating to being a participant in the Collective Cyber Conscience and operating within an online justice system. What if the page of a person who was always sending negative comments and creating conflict started turning red and became darker and darker until they could not access their page anymore (until they became more positive (Green) participants). What if someone who was always positive and encouraged other Facebook members received green credits and these credits could be traded with those Facebook Members in the “Red”. The Facebook members in the “Red” use the green credits to make 2 good comments or attempt to rectify the hurt and pain they have caused other Facebook Users. What if the people always in the Green eventually moved to a rainbow colour and they are identified, as users who have passed a certain Facebook Justice Level (such as a good comments counter) and they can then become Justice of the Facebook Peace. The Facebook JP’s have excess Green Credits and would be the members who would talk to and positively communicate with Facebook users in conflict. Could there be a Red, Amber and Green Facebook Justice System where if you are in the Red you have to do your best to move to the Green and become acceptable members of the Facebook Virtual Experience Society.
Virtual Facebook Forgiveness
The Justice system is about Facebook users either redeeming their negative actions to other users or they are expelled from the virtual experience. So what if we followed the cycles of the moon and the sun where every full moon we could have a time of forgiveness, where you would have to log-0ff in order to indicate your level of forgiveness. If there are enough people who log-off and forgive people for their online actions, then Facebook would reset all Red Pages back to Green. The new moon rises and we recommence this process every single month in accordance with the cycle of the moon. This could also relate to Solar Flares where we could have some type of indication when there is a big solar flare coming. This would be a time that those who usually create conflict would indicate their level of support to the Facebook Collective Cyber Conscience by signing off for that period of the solar flare.
The Facebook Collective Cyber Conscience – Virtual Programs & Activity
Why could we not create online programs and activities that are designed to focus on healing, wellbeing and limiting conflict and this could include online chat rooms, real life activities, workshops and a virtual Collective Cyber Conscience Education Centre. This centre could include links to online support and counselling centre and spiritual activity web sites.
Why a Collective Cyber Conscience?
Facebook is un-emotive and although it is charged with emotional words and emotive icons it is in essence an unemotional software program. What if we could create a cyber environment where emotions are measured and you are made responsible for your actions through an online justice system. Although at first it will seem like we are creating falsified interactions, I think in time we will discover that this is actually the way society works. When you are angry or mad you don’t take it out on others and if we can learn to treat each other with online respect, we will create a more harmonious virtual experience. It is about making people using Facebook responsible for their actions and providing an avenue for healing, wellbeing and online (virtual) personal and spiritual development.
The Collective Cyber Conscience Movement & Mark Zuckerberg
This movement is purely about getting the attention of Mark Zuckerberg, as he is the owner of Facebook and he is the one who can create the software program required to collate, collect and register all feelings into emotions and then perhaps into a matrix, pie chart or brain pattern. He is the one who will be the Brain of Facebook and he is the one who could create the first image and bring the Collective Conscience to Virtual Reality. Seriously imagine this, we actually get to physically see our brain patterns and obviously this is only a prototype, but what I can gather Mark Zuckerberg is capable of creating and then recreating the software, as the CCC changes, evolves and requires upgrade. It is not about making a positive impact on the Collective Conscience it is about getting Mark to create a software program where we can watch the CC work in real time.

We could also send Mark Zuckerberg messages encouraging him to create the Collective Cyber Conscience and provide him with a Facebook Collective Cyber Conscience Page where he can get access ideas.
Collective Cyber Conscience - Final Comment
You have an opportunity to participate in a world first movement where we create a virtual image of something that exists in reality. We have an opportunity for “Individual ownership” in the creation of a virtual piece of history by creating the worlds’ first Virtual Collective (Cyber) Conscience.
Finally, if we cannot stand together, side by side in the streets and on the land then maybe, just maybe, we can sit together in a virtual world.
